1 Griddle
1 Medium mixing bowl
6 small bowls
- 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tbsp granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 egg
- 1 ½ cups milk
- 3 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 tsp Vanilla extract
- Green food coloring,
- red food coloring
- blue food coloring
- yellow food coloring
- orange food coloring
- purple food coloring
Preheat griddle to 350 °F In a medium mixing bowl combine all ingredients and whisk together until smooth 1 ¾ cups all-purpose flour, 2 tbsp granulated sugar, 1 tbsp baking powder, 1 egg, 1 ½ cups milk, 3 tbsp vegetable oil, 1 tsp Vanilla extract
Separate pancake batter into 6 different small mixing bowls Green food coloring,, red food coloring, blue food coloring, yellow food coloring, orange food coloring, purple food coloring
Start by adding 3 drops of food coloring into each bowl and mix. Add more color until you reach the vibrant color is achieved. Use a ⅓ cup measuring cup to pour colored batter onto griddle. Pancakes will start to bubble when heated approx. 3-5mins. Once the bubbles pop flip the pancakes over and cook other side for 3-5mins. When pancakes have finished cooking, stack them in the order of the rainbow. Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue Purple. Top off with Whip Cream and Confetti sprinkles or try Rainbow Sprinkles
