Considered to be an American comfort food staple, Traditional Sloppy Joes can always be counted on as the go-to for last-minute dinners, and something the kids will always love.

Sloppy Joes became popular in the 1930s as a way for families to stretch their food a bit, an inexpensive meal of ground beef combined with a tomato sauce or even ketchup and fillers like onion.

When put on a bun you have yourself a meal, that can be best paired with salads, French fries, baked beans. The list can go on.

*Seasoning Base*

-Seasonings are always nice to have in a recipe and should be left up to the cook on how much of that seasoning/spice should be added to such recipe.

-We always use garlic powder, onion powder and pepper as a seasoning base in all our recipes.

– Of course add additional seasoning depending on what we are cooking.

Enjoy!
