Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza
Here is a dinner idea you can do with some of those Thanksgiving leftovers, Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza.
Have you ever just stood there with the refrigerator door open staring at all the Thanksgiving leftovers wondering what to do with them?
This idea was created by Steven one night. We were just sitting and enjoying our evening watching some TV.
When all of a sudden he just looked at me and blurted out, Thanksgiving Pizza. So we created Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza.
Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza can be made with leftovers from your Thanksgiving dinner or can be made from scratch if you are craving some Holiday leftovers.
Thanksgiving Leftovers Pizza
Equipment
- 1 Pizza Pan
- 1 Small mixing bowl
Ingredients
Using Leftovers
- 2-3 cups Stuffing
- 1-2 cups Mashed potatoes
- 1 cup Green Bean casserole
- 1 tbs Turkey Gravy
- 1 cup Turkey
- ¼ cup Cranberry sauce optional
From Scratch
- 1 box Stuffing of choice
- 1 bag Idahoan instant potatoes
- 1 can Green Beans
- 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup can substitute with cream of celery soup
- 1 package Turkey Gravy can also substitute with jar of Turkey Gavy
- 5-6 slices Turkey sandwich meat can use Carved Turkey sandwich meat
- ¼ cup Dried Frenche's onions can also use onion rings.
- ¼ cup Cranberry sauce optional
Instructions
Using Leftovers
- If using an oven preheat to 350 °F
- Put stuffing in a bowl and add a little bit of water to moisten it up. Mix with hands to form a dough ball.2-3 cups Stuffing
- Grease pizza pan and press out stuffing to form your pizza crust.
- Put in oven and bake for 15-20mins
If using pizza maker
- Turn on pizza maker and make sure to put settings for both top and bottom and cook stuffing crust for 15-20mins.
- When crust is finished cooking allow to cool 5mins
- Add mashed potatoes spreading evenly on crust and repeat with remaining ingredients. Top with Turkey gravy1-2 cups Mashed potatoes, 1 cup Green Bean casserole, 1 cup Turkey, 1 tbs Turkey Gravy
- Place in oven and cook for 25-30 mins or until turkey and dried onions start to brown
If using pizza maker
- Cook on both settings top and bottom for 25-30mins or until turkey starts to brown.
- When finished allow to cool for 5mins. Top with cranberry sauce¼ cup Cranberry sauce
- Crust still may be too soft to pick up and eat like a pizza slice but it is still fun to make and eat. Enjoy!
From Scratch
- If using an oven preheat to 350 °F
- While oven is preheating make stuffing according to directions on box.1 box Stuffing of choice
- Grease pizza pan
- When stuffing is ready place on pizza pan and press out evenly to form a crust, using a spatula or bottom of measuring cup as stuffing will be warm.
- Put in oven and bake for 15-20mins
If using pizza maker
- Turn on pizza maker and make sure to put settings for both top and bottom and cook stuffing crust for 15-20mins.
- While crust is cooking make potatoes according to package1 bag Idahoan instant potatoes
- When crust is finished cooking allow to cool 5mins
- As crust is cooling, in a separate bowl combine cream of mushroom soup and green beans, mix together.1 can Green Beans, 1 can Cream of Mushroom soup
- Now make turkey gravy according to package1 package Turkey Gravy
- Once potatoes are finished spread evenly on crust and repeat with remaining ingredients. Top with Turkey gravy and dried onions5-6 slices Turkey sandwich meat, ¼ cup Dried Frenche's onions
- Place in oven and cook for 25-30 mins or until turkey and dried onions start to brown
If using pizza maker
- Cook on both settings top and bottom for 25-30mins or until turkey starts to brown.
- When finished allow to cool for 5mins. Top with cranberry sauce¼ cup Cranberry sauce
- Crust still may be too soft to pick up and eat like a pizza slice but it is still fun to make and eat. Enjoy!
