Here you will find a list of some of the best Seasonal Beers from local Breweries right here in the beautiful state of Colorado as well as across the US.

Winter Beers

Achromatic S’more Imperial Stout Double 11 ABV*

Brewed by WeldWerks Brewing Co. Greeley CO.
Achromatic

Brewed right here in Colorful Colorado, this brew is an Imperial Stout Double Pastry style beer. Made with graham crackers, vanilla, chocolate, and tastes like a S’more. With the roasted malt flavor, you get more of a chocolate coffee scent, and has a refreshing smooth sweet taste.

This type of beer is best at room temperature as it brings out more of the barley, and roasted malt flavor, just like a roasted marshmallow on a S’more.

This brew having that sweet taste to it and being dark will put this as a great after dinner type of dessert beer. It is a seasonal beer and comes out in the Fall/Winter season. Just perfect to drink around the campfire as we all know a S’more goes great at campfires.

As with most Stouts this beer has a high ABV* range of 11 and is more for sipping for enjoyment, rather than drinking as a refresher to cool down.

Anybody that appreciates Stouts and Porters would enjoy this winter warmer. This beer is seasonal so give it a try while supplies last.

You may have some trouble finding this beer locally if you do not live in Colorado.

If you do happen to live in Colorado you can find this beer at Total Beverage stores in Westminster or Thornton, or by visiting the WeldWerks Brewery.

The ABV* for Achromatic S’mores Imperial Stout is just right, the after taste is good on the backbone. I can say there is nothing about this beer that I dislike all in all it was very good!

Brewers Blend Imperial Stout 10.3 ABV*

Brewed by Finkel & Garf Brewing Co. Boulder CO

Limited Release

Brewers Blend

Brewed right here in Boulder CO. They are a family owned and operated Brewery.

This limited release is a blend of three different aged Imperial Milk Stouts and has 10.3 ABV*

15% Bourbon Barrell Aged Stout – 70% Imperial Milk Stout – 15% Barrel Aged Imperial Milk Stout.

A good solid stout, barrel aged. On a scale od 1-10 this is a solid 9. It’s worth the price for a well-crafted stout, if you like a good stout this one is for you. They have a whole line that is not seasonal in several different flavors ranging from Maple to Coconut.

Winter Holiday Beers

Valentine’s Day

Chocolate Raspberry Yeti Imperial Stout 9.5 ABV*

Brewed by Great Divide Brewing Co. Denver CO.

Great Divide are famous for their Yeti.

Right here in our own backyard or if you are up in the hills looking for that special Yeti. Think of Great Divide and give them a try.

They have four locations in the Denver Metro Area so top in and give them a try. Ballpark District- RiNo- Denver Airport – Castle Rock.

This one stands out from the rest since this came out just in time for Valentines Day, you need to think outside the heart shaped box. Instead of Chocolate Covered Cherries or Strawberries, you have Chocolate covered Raspberries.

Raspberry being the first note then comes the chocolate. Good for a nice cold night to relax and enjoy. Like a Yeti would have wanted

She’s My Cherry Pie Imperial Lager

Brewed by: Tivoli Brewing Co. Denver CO.
Tivoli She's my Cherry pie

This sweet-tart Imperial Lager is packed with 2,400lbs of locally grown tart Montmorency cherries, add your cinnamon and brown sugar and you have yourself a Cherry Pie.

This is one of my favorite lagers of all time with the cinnamon flavor and touch of cherry. But when you think of a lager you think crushable, think again. This one was made perfect for the month of February adding a kick to it with a higher ABV in the mid 9’s. So worth trying if you haven’t yet!

Fall Beers

BB Autumn Ale
Autumn Ale 7% ABV*
Brewed by: Breckenridge Brewery Littleton CO.

This malty goodness of a German lager with the clean crispness of an American ale. Is brewed with Munich malts and a delicate blend of Bavarian hops, it’s full-bodied with a nutty-sweet middle, a warming alcohol level and notes of toasted grain.

It’s a good beer to have on a Fall day. One of my favorite Ales. Something you can have with Shepards Pie. Has malty caramel color to it.

Kind of a kick off for the winter months.

Summer Beers

Old Rip Medianoche Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 12.5% ABV

Brewed by WeldWorks Brewery, Greeley CO

A stout beer aged in the barrels of Rip Van Winkle whiskey.

Definitely a smokey flavor with a chocolate cherry coffee taste. Very satisfying on a scale of 1-10, it’s a 10 all around. I will refer this beer to anyone who asks. Good to have at gatherings.
