Quick Jambalaya
Quick Jambalaya is a simple recipe for one of Louisiana’s favorite dishes. With just 5 ingredients this Mardi Gras favorite will have you sweating for more.
You will find this on the menu right next to Gumbo, Red Beans and Rice and Crawfish Étouffée.
Quick Jambalaya
Equipment
- 1 2qt Saucepan
- Serving bowl
Ingredients
- 1 pkg KNORR Spanish Rice
- 1 can Chunk chicken
- 3 Green Onions
- 1 pkg Spicy Sausage
- 1 tsp Creole Seasoning
Instructions
- In a 2qt saucepan prepare Spanish rice according to package1 pkg KNORR Spanish Rice
- While rice is cooking cut spicy sausage into ¼ inch rounds, and dice green onions.3 Green Onions, 1 pkg Spicy Sausage
- Add sausage, green onions, chicken and Creole seasoning to rice and continue to simmer until rice is tender and cooked completely.1 can Chunk chicken, 1 tsp Creole Seasoning
- Serve hot
