Mummy Pigs in a Blanket

Mummy Pigs in a Blanket are a great Halloween treat for dinner or to take to your next Halloween Party.

Equipment

  • 1 Cookie sheet
  • Tin foil or use non-stick cookie sheet
  • 1 Small cutting board
  • 1 knife

Ingredients
  

  • 1 roll 8 count Croissants
  • 16 Hot Dogs
  • 32 Small edible candy eyes

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350 °F or according to package
  • Line cookie sheet with tin foil or use non-stick cookie sheet
  • Open Croissants and lay out on cutting board, using the knife cut each Croissant in half, length wise.
    1 roll 8 count Croissants
  • Roll the Croissant dough until about 8-9" long
  • Dap the hot dogs with a paper towel as they might be damp from packaging.
  • Take one dough roll and start at the top of the hot dog wrapping it until you get to the bottom. Take the second dough roll and repeat but in the opposite direction wrapping the hot dog to look like a Mummy.
  • Repeat with remaining hot dogs and Croissant dough.
  • Place each hot dog on cookie sheet and bake for 10mins. or until dough is golden brown.
  • Take out and allow to cool. Serve when warm to touch.
