Mini Hamburger Cookies

Mini Hamburger Cookies
Equipment
- 1 Small mixing bowl
- Medium flat container
Ingredients
- 40 Vanilla Wafer cookies
- 20 Chocolate covered mint cookies
- ¼ cup Coconut flakes
- 1 small Tube of Red decorating icing
- 1 small Tube of Yellow decorating icing
- 1-2 drops Green food coloring
Instructions
- In a small mixing bowl put ¼ cup of coconut flakes and add 2-3 drops of green food coloring. Make sure not to add too much as you want a light green color. Close to the color of lettuce. Set aside¼ cup Coconut flakes, 1-2 drops Green food coloring
- Lay out 20 vanilla wafers
- Add a small circle of icing doesn't matter what color yellow or red. This is just to hold the mint cookie in place.
- Place one mint cookie on top of vanilla wafer
- Drizzle on yellow and red icing to look like mustard and ketchup
- Add some green coconut for lettuce
- Top with second vanilla wafer.
- Store in airtight container if not serving right away.
Notes
- add some sesame seeds on top to look more like a hamburger bun
- yellow fruit rollups and cut into squares to look like cheese.
- flatten one green starburst and shape with fingers into a circle shape for a pickle.
