Eggnog Cocktails
The Holidays can be stressful, lots of planning, shopping, wrapping, parties etc. the list can go on and on. Oh and don’t forget the family that can also be stressful. So sometimes you just need to spike things up a bit. Throw some extra liquor in the eggnog, no one is going to notice.
Below are some Eggnog Cocktails that we have concocted just on a whim while having some family time. These cocktails are made with the Homemade Eggnog, however you can use regular store bought eggnog you will just need to make sure to add the bourbon to the store bought brand because they are non-alcoholic (unless you bought the eggnog at the liquor store when you were stocking up for the holidays).
White Christmas
The idea came around this year in fact, I was enjoying my eggnog and wanted to know what it would be like to add some Kahlúa, thought it would put a nice spin on a Christmas version of a White Russian. And it is definitely different. If you have never had a White Russian they are made with Vodka–Kahlúa-Heavy Cream. This White Christmas version is a close similar as the eggnog is the cream, minus the Vodka if you are using the Homemade Eggnog as this is made with Bourbon. The taste turns out to be close to the same as a White Russian.

Peppermint Snow
When the holidays are here you can’t forget Peppermint. Peppermint around Christmas is like the Pumpkin Spice of Fall. Of course you have your Candy Canes, Peppermint Sticks, Peppermint Barks, Peppermint Mocha’s etc. For the Holidays here is another twist on the Peppermint Stick. In this recipe you can use any Peppermint Bark Liqueur of your choice. We used Pennsylvania Dutch Peppermint Bark Liqueur, however RumChata Peppermint Bark Liqueur is also a good choice. And of course your Homemade Eggnog
