Boooook Rice Krispie Treats

These cute Boooook Rice Krispie Treats are sure to put a spell on you. With just two simple ingredients this will be the easiest spell you'll conjure.

Equipment

  • 1 1-2qt saucepan
  • 1 Cooling racks
  • 1 Serving platter
  • 1 Cookie sheet
  • Foil
  • Piping bag and tip or sandwich bag
  • 1 Small mixing bowl

Ingredients
  

  • ½ bag Chocolate chips
  • 1 box Rice Krispie Treats 16 pieces
  • Black Food coloring
  • 1 tub White frosting or homemade frosting
  • small Candy eyes
  • 1-2 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • Line cookie sheet with foil and place cooling rack on top
  • Unwrap Rice Krispie Treats and set aside on cooling racks.
    1 box Rice Krispie Treats
  • Over medium-low heat melt ½ bag of chocolate chips with milk for 2-3mins, stirring so chocolate doesn't melt. Once melted remove from heat.
    ½ bag Chocolate chips, 1-2 tbsp milk
  • Dip Rice Krispie Treat in chocolate making sure to cover the whole treat. With a fork take Rice Krispie Treat out and tap on the side of the pan to let excess chocolate drip off.
  • Put dipped treat back on cooling rack and repeat with other treats
  • Once all treats have been dipped, place one eye on the right side of the treat in the middle about ¼ of an inch from the side of the treat.

  • Put treats in fridge to allow them to cool completely.
  • Once cooled take out of fridge and set aside
  • Prepare your frosting in a small bowl place a spoon full of frosting and black food coloring and mix together until desired black color is achieved
    Black Food coloring, 1 tub White frosting
  • Put your black frosting in your piping bag with desired tip, or in a sandwich bag and cut a small hole in the corner of the sandwich bag.
  • Outline your treats on the top, and then down the left hand side (the backing of the book) draw your lines, and if you have room you can draw any other designs on the treats.
  • HAVE FUN! And don't forget when you are finished, to wake up your spell book by calling his name "BOOOOOK".
